After graduating from the American Academy of Arts with a degree in fine art, I jumped right into exploring different freelancing gigs and production painting. Those opportunities taught me how to facilitate group classes, experiment with different techniques, and deepen my knowledge of paint materials. Through those experiences, I discovered just how much community matters to me — and how painting for others fulfills a deeper sense of purpose. It’s always fun to paint something beautiful, but creating work that stirs emotion in others is what truly resonates with me.
a little bit about me
That’s how murals really came into the picture for me in 2020, during the pandemic. I had left everything behind to move to Florida, hoping for a fresh start, only to face a rough new beginning as the COVID outbreak reshaped the world just a few months after I arrived. With no work and isolated from friends and family, I found a sense of freedom in painting the walls around me. When I began sharing my mural journey, the interest and encouragement from others brought me pure joy. It became the perfect way to merge my fine art background with a new passion for large-scale mural work.
Currently, Tracy is exploring the balance of creating fine art works and murals. When she isn’t creating art, Tracy enjoys seeking beauty and inspiration in nature or reading. Her love for nature and sustainability has been a therapeutic passion in her personal life, that organically blended into her career throughout time. In her free time, she loves reading and learning more about art history and interior design. Tracy is an animal lover as well, and has two dogs with her partner that bring so much playful joy in her life.
